Kenworth vs Peterbilt vs Freightliner vs Volvo vs International vs Mack vs Western Star

I know someone will say a truck is a truck but what are you the most partial to and why?

Freighter Cascadia is my personal favorite at the moment. It has plenty of space for my 6'8 inch frame and it has a very good turning radius. I'm running about 7.6 mpg.

Kenworth and Peterbilt. Although I'm a big fan of the International 9900 series. I just love the classic look with the long hood.

You're 6.8 talk...?? I'd love to get a bear hug from you! Hahaha!!

I like all of them, specially the new shiny trucks. :) As far as how they handle, etc. I'll get back to you in a few years from now...lol

For me it is the Western Star. Not a lot of people have experience with them but that is the truck I first learned to drive. That thing has loads of room in it. In the KW that I drive now I can put my hand 2/3 of the way across the passenger seat without leaning. In the Western Star I can touch the arm rest. That same truck that I learned on had gone into the median at 65 mph and hit one of those emergency vehicle turnarounds. All that happened to the truck was a bent front axle. That proved to me that it was one tough truck.

Second in line has to be the W900. Basically it comes down to what people have experience with. I have only driven one pete and one freightliner and only for a short period. They were both ok. I did like the seat in the pete really well. Freightliners, well there is a reason they call them freight shakers. I believe that Western Star is the only one left to make an entirely steel cab instead of fiberglass.

Besides that, I love the look of the 4900ex but that 5700 is one awesome looking aero designed truck. brand new blue Western Star semi-truck tractor trailer

Yes! There is a big a** Ford Tonka truck in the town over, it is absolutely gorgeous! I drew every time I see it on the roads. It's yellow!

I saw a guy in a little bobcat backhoe once. When I asked if he played with tonka trucks as a kid his reply was "I still do".
