From one former Roadie to another... You rock! Congratulations!
I told u you git this!!!!!
I've driven 30k miles and I still stall every once in awhile cause I forget the flipper.I've done it since I startEd. When I shift up I'm fine... I put it up automatically.... but going down to six....I could speed up or slow down.. and then forget lol
Be sure to meet me on thw road sometime
Thanks! I'm hoping to go to Prime when I graduate, so maybe you will see me sometime!
Congrats on passing your permit test! I take mine in two weeks, so I am working through the High Road Training Program when I can. I am learning a lot, but I'm not a great test taker and my greatest fear is blanking out when I get to the real deal. You even got to drive after? How lucky was that! May I ask what you were driving? Was it a Pete? A Mack? Did you drive alone? If I drove alone my first time, I would freak out. Best of luck to you with your schooling. I'm sure you will do great!

I pretty much just read the DMV manual and studied that way. I'm good with book studying, and actually prefer that to electronic means. And I did great. The manual is where they take all the info, so I figured that was the best study tool out there. As for our truck, it's a 2005 Volvo of some sort. Big and kinda clunky and beat up a little bit because of all the students learning how to drive on it. But it's the one I'll be testing with, so I've got to get used to it. And with a permit there MUST be a CDL-A holding driving in the truck with you, so I was not driving on my own. And thanks, good luck to you too!
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
The state agency that handles everything related to your driver's licences, including testing, issuance, transfers, and revocation.
