OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.
Bent or damaged kingpin, possibly needed to lube locking jaws, 5th wheel plate, etc. Or maybe the trailer was too high or to low?

Today, I was trying to back under a trailer and I could not for the life of me get my kingpin to latch all the way. I had that little 2" shiny spot that you can tell it isn't locking all the way. What are some tips and tricks for dealing with this problem during the winter?
