I can't speak for Swift, but mine was well above yours and Schneider hired me. A year later and 50lbs lighter my BP is normal and I recently got a two year medical card.
Fear not!
Thanks man when they hired you did they give you a year to lower it or was it sooner?? I have heard stories if your pressure is high you only get a 3 month medical and then you have to go back

How long the certificate is good for depends on how high it is and whether or not a person is being treated for it with prescription medication.
In my case, I received a certificate that's good for one year: The blood pressure medication I take has helped lower my BP to 127/79.

I was on 10mg Lysinopril and had a one year medical card. Schneider didn't put any restrictions on me. I'm no longer taking any meds.
It sounds like you're doing all the right things to be successful.
All the medical standards/ limits are listed on the medical card. I'm not going to quote numbers, but you can get the long form online if you need to.

I just had my BP checked and it was 148 over 82 which is a little high but slightly down from last week when it was 150 over 85 so while I saw some improvement I still need to lower it a bit more but just outta curiousity If I apply with swift or another company and mu pressure is still slightly high would they still send me home or would they allow me to start training and have me recheck it to make sure that I got it down since Im only a few numbers over the limit??
