If you can get under your seat, I would suggest a "stick up" and spray from the bottom side. Most seats are not sealed so you should be able to get to the foam rubber from under your seat.
I guess it would be too late now. But I always use a seat cushion when I drive. Partly for that reason.
Wal Mart sells a very thin one that is pretty cheap. I have replaced mine 3 times in 5 years. With them, you can air them out when you are not driving. Or get two. Change out every other day or so. Put the one you are not using somewhere in a box outside of your truck.
Since I am not on the road yet, I don't know what kind of boxes are on the outside of a truck. It was just an idea.
Keep it safe out there. Joe S
Ew. I didn't even think about that being an issue. I know his 'special' chair at the house has it's own special aroma. I use vinegar diluted and spray on. It seems to kill most odors. Once the smell of the vinegar fades, it just smells clean.
Oh vinegar is a good idea I didn't think of that. I will try that when I can get a bottle. The seat cushion idea is good too. Thanks for not being grossed out! lol.
Try and get a shower and change your drawers more often.
Just kidding, I know how it is. Some of the tshirts I brought with me are older work shirts, and I can wash them and they smell clean out of the wash, but after I wear them an hour and sweat a bit, they smell like old sweaty work shirts. A seat cushion with a slip cover that is washable might be what you want.
We used white vinegar by the gallon in the truck...the seats, the carpet...and the mattress.....I don't care how clean you are...you will sweat, and there will be days you don't get a shower, and you still haveta sit in your seat, and sleep in your bunk.... White Vinegar acts on the molecular level...eats up the little smell makers...and doesn't irritate your skin. We also had seat covers, and put pads under them...And I've been known to take them into the truck wash and have them "shot out" with detergent, then rinsed...the guys looked at me funny, but money always looks good, even if it comes from a crazy lady...

Star,
did you put it into a spray bottle or just pour it on??? Did the other truckers call you guys the rolling pickles??

Come on... EVERYONE knows that dirty truck drivers only shower once a week. Or is it once a month? lol.

I think for the majority, it's once a month...whether they need it or NOT...
I put it in a spray bottle. And I also used spray Oust, since I don't really like the smell of vinegar. But MR ROADKILL....you are ill informed..You are thinking of the smell of Apple Cider Vinegar... I'm talking about WHITE vinegar....big difference. AND we kept our truck dog rubbed down with orange peelings...so he wouldn't get ticks...I'm a eal "natural cure" kinda person. There will come a time when dead people won't have to be embalmed...the chemicals we have absorbed thru our life will preserve our bodies for eons...scarey thought,

So... my seat cushion has a quite... offensive smell, shall we say. lol. Seriously though, all that sitting in one spot. I have tried Febreeze, I have tried disinfectant spray, and baby powder. How do I make that seat not stink anymore?!?
