So, for the learners permit I will be tested on the pre trip inspection and driving tedt? I have not been studied that :-(

It's not the full pre-trip inspection or anything like that. It just covers some of the basics about it. They won't ask you for the names of parts or anything like that. They may ask questions like, "Who needs to do a pre-trip inspection?" or "How often does a pre-trip inspection have to be done?" - that sort of thing.

Pre-trip Inspection:

A pre-trip inspection is a thorough inspection of the truck completed before driving for the first time each day.

Federal and state laws require that drivers inspect their vehicles. Federal and state inspectors also may inspect your vehicles. If they judge a vehicle to be unsafe, they will put it “out of service” until it is repaired.

I'm not sure which changes you're referring to. They haven't made any changes to the curriculumn requirements or anything. They did change some regulations about transferring licenses between states but I'm not aware of any changes that would be reflected in the mobile app.
