There is nothing here to be sorry for. I am Ex Navy and proud of it. I served right after Nam. And served with guys and gals that served in Nam.

I am glad to stand up and say, thank you brothers for all you did. I am sorry you have all the pain in your souls. But be assured, there are others that will help you and give you a hand for comfort any time you need it.

God bless you both. You are in my prayers. And I would also be proud to work with you out there on the road and I will buy you a coke if we ever meet.

Be safe. Keep it safe out there. Joe S

Just my 2 cents for the person on the youtube vid. I do not feel a bit sorry for you. As the son of man that drove for 50+ years, both inter and intrastate , was gone for up to 16 weeks at a time making a living for his family, yes he missed us, but he also loved the road and I am proud to say that he passed that love on to me and now I can only hope to be half the driver he was until the day he retired. I can honestly say I had the priviledge of being taught to drive by real driver (in an old 68 mack), and taught that you make your own life. you work hard, support your family and be proud of what you do. I learned from one of the best..and believe me he was the best but would never consider himself such, but anybody that knows him will tell you he is a true driver, Unlike you. Talk about making a family and his son proud (can your family say the same about you?)..he was 99 DOT driver of the year for both AZ and US, so take your candy@&& whiny bs and sell it someplace else because the real drivers, the ones that love this country and understand that without drivers moving the freight, this country would come to a standstill. Whether most people realize it or not, they depend on us to take care of them. So instead of crying, take pride in the fact that as a driver, you keep this nation functional..if you dont like driving, quit, this is a free country, nobody is forcing you to drive. You want to feel like and indentured servent, trying being stuck behind a desk 5 sometimes 6 days a week, going sometimes at sunrise and leaving after sunset, the only time you even see the sun is if you take lunch outside, if you get to take lunch, i know, i did that for 20 years. So grow a pair, and get a life and get out of ours.

DOT:

Department Of Transportation

A department of the federal executive branch responsible for the national highways and for railroad and airline safety. It also manages Amtrak, the national railroad system, and the Coast Guard.

State and Federal DOT Officers are responsible for commercial vehicle enforcement. "The truck police" you could call them.

Intrastate:

The act of purchasers and sellers transacting business while keeping all transactions in a single state, without crossing state lines to do so.
