Chances are they have your license number, your home address, your company name, your truck number, maybe even your SS#, etc, etc. Send it back, too easy to track you down and present you with a souvenir you do not want.
Cool place though...I've been there many times. Best beach in the US...

Thanks GTown that's what I was thinking since it has a pass # and it was assigned to me. Yes the place is awesome and totally agree on the beach I've vacationed there many times.
Guess I'll just take a pic of it and that can be my souvenir
US government places can be a (ahem) blast! I delivered to Radford Army Ammunition Plant in southern Virginia. There's a Nike missile at the gate. After the similar ID check I had to drive, escorted, about half a mile in. The place is like WW-I old. I still can't believe I drove past the Nitrocellulose Office!
I go to Fort Dix/McGuire Air Force base in jersey all the time. If you think you'll be going back within the next year or so it will actually help them process your day pass faster next time if you save it and give it to them when you go.
Getting on those bases can be VERY time consuming if you go at the wrong time. Having a previous pass, with all the info they need already on it, will save everyone a lot of time. I've sat for 3+ hours waiting to gain entry in the past.

So today I had the great experience of a delivery to Tyndall Air Force Base in sunny Panama City FL. Have never been there before and to gain entrance they pretty much asked me for everything but my first born lol. Once all that was done and truck was passed from the inspectors they handed me a gate pass and directions to my unloading dock. Well I noticed on the pass it says it must be surrendered at time of check in, well no one asked for it and I forgot to give it back. On the back it has an address to return to if found and plainly says that it's U.S. Government property. Anyone with any experience on this should I send it back or keep it as a souvenir? Don't want to get in any trouble over it so that's why I'm here ask.
