How about showering once and a while (or at least make yourself look neat) BEFORE going into the restaurant or dealing with anyone else.... remember, you are not only representing yourself as a driver, but your company and the industry as a whole... I have seen some rather "unkempt" and "dirty looking" smelly drivers out here..... its pitiful.... I know its hard to get a showers out here every day, but at least wash up and put on some clean clothes..... lol....

And pull up your Fu****g pants ! Like Chris said. You are representing your company. I could give 2 ****s what you do on your personal time, but have some self respect.
Love this topic!
Help out other drivers when it is clear that they are going to hit something.
I've jumped out of my truck like a paratrooper numerous times when I saw someone about to hit something. Bad thing is they were other drivers closer than me that could have helped.
Help each other out! No one cares about us but us.

This is much better than the "Sit in my truck filming and making snide remarks about the other driver and his/her company, then post it on Youtube" approach that some of the super goobers take.

Ain't that the truth!
If catch you taking your thirty minute break in the fuel island you are going to be much less happy with me than I am with you!
Roger that, ditto for me.
I keep spare chains and a hook for those guys. Don't think for a moment I won't drag them outta the way lol. Granted, it probably wouldn't but hooking everything up would get their attention. Generally I'll just lay on the horn.
Don't remember if this was said but being rude to the store employees isn't going to help if you've had a crappy day. They work for someone just the same as you and have hundred of "you" in and out of the store all day. Cut em some slack it might actually turn out to help you at some point.
I had an instance at a produce shipper in Ca where I stepped between a driver and the Hispanic fork lift operator. The driver was yelling obscenities at this poor guy and being blatantly racist. Granted we almost came to blows. Over the next 4 months I picked of Priduce there prob ten times. The forklift drivers did not forget me, I never waited more then 10 minutes for a hole. ****ed some other drivers off though. Especially those who had been waiting 4-5 hrs.
The customer who is shipping the freight. This is where the driver will pick up a load and then deliver it to the receiver or consignee.
What are some of the polite things to do when you stop at a rest area for the night? that way i won't upset anyone when i start driving

Speaking of shower etiquette, I was at the Love's off I-20 south of Dallas one night, the one on Polk.
Anyhow, I am out of the shower already, but still completely nekkid, when a distinctly female voice tries to communicate with me thru the door. I simply replied that I would be out in a few minutes, and left it at that for the time being.
Well, once I got decent, I came out and looked around, and identified the only female in the area, which turned out to be the cashier at the fuel desk! She was standing up there talking to some guy, acting like nothing had happened.
I walked up, and asked her if she was the young lady, who had knocked on my door? Without hesitation, she admitted that it was her, who had tried to gain entry!
I looked her in the eye, and told her that somebody needed to have a talk with her momma!
The guy standing there talking to her, looked at me and replied, "She already knows!"
Dm:
Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager
The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.
