Ahmalia,
Thanks for offering to answer questions. I'm thinking about pursuing OTR trucking after many years of working in an office (modern "open" offices don't work for me - and I am comfortable spending many hours alone.)
Can you explain how "Team" driving works? How do you get started? What a day is like? Do you have to create your own team, or do employers match you up in some cases?
OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.

So I just turned 18 recently and was wondering if trucking would be a good fit for me. I've heard Roelh and Prime are pretty good and I'm leaning towards Prime because of the hands on training. How difficult is the written and road test? I'm not a "social butterfly" so being on the road for long stretches of time wouldn't be a problem, I kinda prefer being alone.
