I'm thinking about buying a dashcam for the truck. Any suggestions? I'll probably order it through Amazon and pick it up during hometime, so it doesn't have to be one available in a truck stop. I'd prefer not to spend over $150, although if it's necessary in order to get a decent quality one I don't mind. Only real requirement is I definitely need one that supports loop recording (I think most do) as I don't have the time, energy or memory to manually delete data every day.

I use a kdlinks with a 32 gig card. Works day and night. Good quality video and not near the price of a go pro

I use a transcend forget what model. Microphone isn't that great on it but it takes high quality HD day and night video. Last I knew it was around a hundred could be less at this point. Also has a g sensor to save record automatically in an accident but found it to sensitive for the truck as every bump set it off. It's a decent camera but there may be better.

Also here's my YouTube user name. cbinette100. Search that and you'll see videos I've posted using that camera. Give you an idea how it does

The timestamp on your videos show you are using the Transcend DrivePro 200 which I found on Amazon for $119.95 & free shipping.

Yea that's the one. Thanks for that. It also has a smartphone app that you can see live views with and also download videos straight from the camera if you so desire.

I watched your videos and the camera does have nice quality, looks exactly like what I need. Did you use the adhesive or suction cup mount? Any issues with it holding over rough roads?

I bought the kit that came with the suction cup mount plus case and memory card. Never had the suction cup fail on me one.

Thanks Gee, Heavy C and Anchorman for your help. I think I'll order the Transcend 200 before I go home so it's there waiting for me.
