Anyone ever hear of them or have any experience with them? They are based out of Chesapeake VA. or at least they have a terminal there. I just wanted to know what kinda company they are as I'm getting closer to the end of my contract and would like to be well educated on the next move from here.
They are indeed home based in Chesapeake (I used to work there years ago in the warehouse). They haul Honda equipment & motorcycles all over the eastern half of the US. You do need to have your Hazmat endorsement (but they will pay for the renewal after you are hired).
I checked into driving for them a couple of years ago (but because I don't have & won't get my Hazmat is why I did not drive for them). They have been around for 25+ years and seem like a good place to work if you what to run the NE going to all the Honda equipment retailer stores and Honda Motorcycle dealers. That is just not my cup of tea if you know what I mean.

A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

Thanks Ernie!! I still have some time with CRST to put in but I'd like to know as much possible for the companies that are local to this area. And honestly I'm not sure I'm ready to run "mostly northeast " as put by the recruiter. Any experience or advice on working in the ports around this area?
