Keep that positive outlook and you'll be just fine.
Surprised!! But I agree with the post above. I hope this won't create a financial burden for you, the jobless month. I'm glad I can still expect to meet you someday at the terminal.
A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.
You can still hang out on TT and cause trouble. That's what I do.
Ahh sorry to hear about that but look on the bright side you didn't fail and aren't out of the Process for Long
Ken C.
Yeah, I'm not sweating things yet. I decided instead of sitting on my thumbs for a month I enrolled in the community college CDL program. It's one month long, so I'm hoping I can get the CDL and get back to Prime right on schedule and not have lost one month with no income. Hopefully I can then go into their fast track program and go TNT almost right away.
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
Prime Inc has their own CDL training program and it's divided into two phases - PSD and TNT.
The PSD (Prime Student Driver) phase is where you'll get your permit and then go on the road for 10,000 miles with a trainer. When you come back you'll get your CDL license and enter the TNT phase.
The TNT phase is the second phase of training where you'll go on the road with an experienced driver for 30,000 miles of team driving. You'll receive 14¢ per mile ($700 per week guaranteed) during this phase. Once you're finished with TNT training you will be assigned a truck to run solo.
Hopefully I can then go into their fast track program and go TNT almost right away.
I think you'll do fine, Miss Myoshi! I've got my fingers crossed for you.

That is so super-proactive!! I think they'll love you for it.

Good idea.
And being so fresh out of school - you might just get out onto TNT - and avoid having to get the MO permit/license, and then transfer it back to your home state.

Luckily, it's not because I failed anything. I found out a medication I'm taking is on Prime's restricted list so I have to come off the meds for 30 days and get a release from my doctor before returning. So I'm still going to Prime; I'm just taking the scenic route. Upside is I get to be a stay at home pet mom for a month, so I can't be too sad.
