Arrived at Werner on Thursday, did a hair follicle on Friday. Whole class for their results and are on their way out. Meanwhile mine is apparently still "pending" I'm sitting here trying not to lose my mind. I've called corporate twice, they won't pay me anything for sitting these extra days, I'm a qualified driver and was told I would get my truck Monday. Nobody seems to care, I'm really starting to regret this.

TWIC:

Transportation Worker Identification Credential

Truck drivers who regularly pick up from or deliver to the shipping ports will often be required to carry a TWIC card.

Your TWIC is a tamper-resistant biometric card which acts as both your identification in secure areas, as well as an indicator of you having passed the necessary security clearance. TWIC cards are valid for five years. The issuance of TWIC cards is overseen by the Transportation Security Administration and the Department of Homeland Security.

It's a few extra days, try not to stress too much. These things happen. When we went to orientation at Celadon my boyfriend's drug test took five business days to come back. Mine was done the day after I took it. Turned out the chain of custody on his form was illegible and they had to jump through a bunch of bureaucratic hoops to get it cleared.

Kash, unfortunately, part of Trucking is the pay accounting. Your job, once you get hired, is to deliver freight. Yes there's layover and detention and stuff, but that's connected to the load, not the driver.

Since you're posting as an experienced driver you should know these things. If you still have six days to wait for your truck, then all you can do is wait. Did they give you a hotel room, at least?

This may be a dumb question but your whole class failed a hair follicle test? Holy moly! How far did they go back? I have been told hair is 90 days but can go back as far as a year. I don't mean to be an a$$, just shocked all failed.

Lol. No, they didn't all fail. They're all on their way out to drive. That would be amazing if the whole class failed.
