Hello ladies, I am new to the forums and have been perusing the website for 2 days now, trying to read all the trucking company reviews and various forum posts but still am confused on the best company out there. I know a large chunk of companies just from being around the trucking industry and riding with my ex-husband for 3/4 of our 10 year relationship, which includes the "old" ins and outs of Celadon, Schneider, and Falcon Transport. But personally, from a female perspective, what are good companies to look into?

Thanks ahead of time for any input or advice anyone can provide.

I am going through TLD in TN. Small classes, inexpensive, and I don't have to work for them, but I will.

Thanks Lynn. I like what I've seen and read so far about them. Best part a few of their terminals is in a reasonable distance from my home. I really appreciate the feedback :)

Terminal:

A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

Have you tried Maverick? They have reefer and glass division for .40+ a mile :-)

Reefer:

A refrigerated trailer.
