Who knew something that looks like it should be so easy can be so tough!! I am having real hard time with this. Once I get it into the cones, I can straight back but having a hard time getting it there.

It will get better.. suddenly, you will just get it and it will stick. Like me and my alley docking.. improving rapidly out of necessity and pride lol.

It better. I think I know what I was doing wrong. Waiting for tomorrow to get back out there. I agree with the pride and necessity!

It took nearly 2 weeks for the offsets to click for me. I was doing better on blindside parallel than offsets!! One day it just finally clicked and it was smooth sailing from there. (Except for my DOT test, I took 5 pull-ups on my offset! I still passed though)

You will get there I promise, just don't give up!

DOT:

Department Of Transportation

A department of the federal executive branch responsible for the national highways and for railroad and airline safety. It also manages Amtrak, the national railroad system, and the Coast Guard.

State and Federal DOT Officers are responsible for commercial vehicle enforcement. "The truck police" you could call them.

I am having problems with this too. Even my straight-line. I have it and then bam! I am encroaching. I have learned to stop before I encroach, but sometimes it is just infuriating to go too far left or right. I am actually better with the 90 degree, but still I struggle. I have 1 more week before I take my test. I will do great then I suck. I understand the concept, but can't always do it. I just have to be positive. Good Luck!

Took my test and passed! My offset I did best on strangely enough. I encroached once on my straight-line, and once on my 90 or alley. Luckily I knew how to fix the problem.

The way i learned to straight line back is to look in my mirrors obviously but I would watch my tractor tires and my trailer tires and when they are in line with each other your going straight so as long as you are in the box with room on both sides it should be a piece of cake.
