Okay Sam, I had a feeling that was the case, and I am very sorry that something took place that caused you guys such grief. There are a lot of "less than stellar folks" in this industry, but you guys keep plugging away because there are some great people involved in it also. There are opportunities out there, and you guys just need to find a situation that works for you.

Sam, sorry to hear you guys are off to a bit of a rocky start man. For whats it's worth I just sent a request in to HireRight myself here a few minutes ago.

Thanks for the heads up!

No Errol, I'm still applying everywhere I can, just the Hire Right thing has me concerned. If there is still a way, there is still a will.Guess I'm trying to prepare myself for the worst.

I agree Annee. I'm going to get a copy. Want to see what it says.

Not sure if HireRight includes criminal history, when doing consumer responses for negative employer reports.

They DID in '09, when I pulled my first one. They have NOT INCLUDED criminal history, in recent ones that I've pulled on myself.

The only stuff that is typically on there, includes transportation work history, and failed drug screens.

So, if there is some minor issue on there (or even an old major one), you are likely to not get to see them on a self-pulled report.

I'd give them a call and make sure they will issue you a COMPLETE REPORT - since PAM didn't seem to indicate specially what derogatory information was on the report (or you're not inclined to share it here).

Sorry to hear that. Sometimes instead of going in a straight line to get what we want, we go in a circle. I call it the scenic route. I had to do it myself w/my trucker career choice.

I received my HireRight a few days ago. Nothing scandalous lol

Take care & let us know if u find a job at another trucking company

Did your HireRight have CRIMINAL HISTORY on it by any chance?

Mine was a big, blank thing. All it had on it were the trucking companies that had checked my background.

Thanks for the words everybody. Just feeling low. I'll keep after it. For now I guess I got to get a job at a hotel or c store.

As far as criminal, I've never been arrested nor have I ever failed a drug test. But I will find out soon.

All those in trucks, be safe, and may you get loaded and unloaded quickly.

I also say CRST.... And if you go that route let me know and use me as a referral..

I would love to drive for CRST, but they are the only company to turn my wife down lol. A rolling stop got her a careless ticket four years ago. No one else has cared about it.

Celadon has great training and loves teams. You guys could try them out.
