I think you'll find most companies do different things. At CRST you focus on getting your permit and the DOT physical comes in later in the week. But again I'm sure other companies have different schedules. Clear as mud right?

Also some of the folks that had marginally high or low blood pressure were not absolutely out once they were tested. If it were somewhat high or low they would let them retest later that day or the following. They seemed to understand that early morning or nerves or lack of food played a part in everyones blood pressure and were relatively cool about it.

Most companies are going to want to get you through the physical and drug screen on the first or second day.
No sense "investing time" on a new applicant - if they can't medically qualify anyway.
