I've been with Prime since Feb. I'm in the reefer division and the only time I've been sitting around waiting, was due to truck repair issues. As soon as we send in our "arrived at receivers" QC message, (some times even before) we have another load waiting for us.
I'm pretty happy with everything so far.
What is your average mile a week as a reefer in prime? Prime wants me to stay in my job until May before they will put my application to processing.
A refrigerated trailer.

Yes, team driving. The only time we've been down was because of mechanical issues in the tractor 2013 Cascadia, and what seems to be really ****ty mechanics. 2 weeks ago, brought the truck in for an oil leak. .... "fixed leak. " Last night, hit the terminal and wanted to get the truck inspected. "Can't inspect your truck. You have 2 oil leaks that need to be fixed. "
I know I'm new, but it smells fishy to me. The truck is almost at the end of its lease and warranty. So it really seems like a case of putting a band-aid over the damage so they can come back and charge you for repairs instead of fixing it under warranty.
Just my opinion.
BTW its Freightliner doing the repairs NOT PRIME
Sorry to go off on a tangent.
A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.
