They've been pretty good to me. You do your job, deliver on time, and don't complain about stupid stuff and you'll do just fine. Develop a good working relationship with your fleet manager and he'll keep you running.
Oh and that all pretty much holds true no matter what company.
Is Werner a good company to work for? Can I depend on them?
Why so vague?...Werner is a dependable company but I would suggest you be a little more detailed than that. It all depends on what you are looking for in a company. Home time, Benefits, Type of Freight, etc. are all things that you need to look in to. I would suggest researching the following links for more info...
Operating While Intoxicated
When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.
I wasn't intentionally vague. I'm new to trucking and don't know what details to ask about.
Will Werner keep me busy? Are they reliable for home time?
Is there a cheat sheet of 5 or so questions that should be asked/answered about a trucking company?

There is so much info on this awesome site it's hard to find what you need sometimes. It helps if you know where to start. Lol
Thanks for another great link.
Welcome to TT Jason !! The search bar can also lead you to tons of great threads which will answer a lot of your questions too. There is so much information embedded in older threads that a lot of us forget it's there but it's all important type shtuff. Don't ever be afraid to ask questions though, you'll always get honest info on here (sometimes with added sarcasm and comedy)
Werner will keep you busy if you prove yourself reliable. Home time is never guaranteed, but they do a damn fine job at trying to make sure you get home when you request it.
