Question. .. I'm still paying off my chains and locks etc... and money is still a little tight. I didn't want a fridge cause of the size.. not that I have the money anyway. I have the 5ft cat tree blocking the passenger side cabinets.

I was looking at a couple different t plug in coolers at the teuck stops. Thw reviews are mixed. Just would like something for cold sodas. Any recommendations?

I have the Coleman thermoelectric 40qt cooler. It works really nice as a mini fridge keeps everything nice and cold. I did have to replace it after about 6 months but mine also runs 24/7 except when I go home. It was only 100 bucks at Wal-Mart and had an extended warranty so I can return it if it goes out in 6 months again

Check Wally World or Amazon. Amazon has all shapes and sizes, even some smaller soft sided thermoelectric coolers. i'm sure both would be cheaper than a truck stop. Jakebrake has a good point about the extended warranty at WM. Not sure if Amazon offers that.

You can duplicate JakeBrake's comments for me, including the 24/7 and the extended warranty and that replacement.

This is the time (spring) WM starts stocking the electric coolers in stores.

The brand I have seen with the best reviews are the Igloo brand. Different sizes just like the other brands to fit your wants/needs.

Rainy, I've had really good success with the Koolatron brand. I tried some of the others, but they seldom had more than a six month life in my experience.

I got a Coleman 40 qt about two weeks ago. So far so good. Got tired of buying ice every other day.

I've had to put 3 fuses in my Coleman in a year. That's all that is wrong with them 90% of the time. For what I paid for it, it is well worth the money.

Had my Coleman for a year now without a problem....I've even had some drinks freezing up with a little slush
