Not sure what stay on bonus is. Could be a bonus you get if you stay with them for x amount of time. I'd call a recruiter and ask. Make a list of other things you'd like to know too.
Hi Sam even though I haven't heard of home run as a company there method of retaining qualified drivers is nothing new. It's always more profitable keeping employees then training new ones. So as far as the longevity bonus I applaud them for implementing one. For some companies it seems there is an endless stream of new recruits coming and going. this company seems like they are trying to keep as many drivers as they can.
7. Stay on Bonus
$250 after 3 month anniversary
$500 after 6 month anniversary
$500 after 1 yr anniversary
$750 after 2 yr anniversary
It's very common. Most companies either gives a series of raises or retention bonuses to drivers their first year with the company. The turnover in this industry averages right around 100% so hardly any companies are able to retain employees for long. So the bonuses are a good thing.

Hello, I am wondering what's your opinion on stay on bonus. I am looking at Maverick and Home Run trucking. Home run offers stay on bonus, WOULD THIS be a red flag saying they can't keep employees or a bad company to work for. If anybody know about home run feel free to inform me thanks.
