Has anyone gone thru Werner orientation at the Springfield Ohio terminal THIS year (2016)? What was the process? And if anyone knows if they are doing hair follicle drug testing? I have read that they started, but have also read that it was only at the Atlanta terminal. Im clean, quit smoking in January, so I should have the required 1 1/2 inches of clean hair. Please don't judge with "You shouldn't drive a truck, you do drugs". It is in the past. Thanks!

Terminal:

A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

I don't know the answer to your question specifically, but I'd plan to be clean for longer than the standard 1- 1/2 inches, or 90 days. I've read where some companies take hair from someplace other than your head, such as an armpit. Hair from an armpit can show drug use for 6 months or more, or so I've read.

In other words, I'd be dang sure I didn't fail. Because if you DO fail, it's curtains for a driving career. Just my $0.02

I'm pretty sure all terminals are doing the hair follicle test.
