I've always enjoyed taking in the sights at the truck stops. What I mean is I enjoy seeing all the different trucks.
I like to see the old "Cab Overs" - I think I've heard them referred to as "Kidney Crushers" - If I were ever going to go the owner operator route, I would get one of those old classics and run it across the country - just because I could! Just take a look at this one that I saw on the cover of a trucking publication - That's classic stuff man!
Here's another one I spotted at a truck stop that was really neat and clean with a husband and wife team running refrigerated loads in it. If you think it is tight quarters in your condo conventional cab, imagine living together with another person in this rig!
Here's a neat looking wrecker that I spotted this morning at the "Midway" truck stop in Columbia, MO. I was interested because of the nice clean looking graphics on the truck, but then I got a little chuckle out of what some of them said. It's pretty obvious this Peterbilt has a Caterpillar engine - you'll know what I mean when you see what it says on the fuel tanks!
Hey, if you see a really cool truck out there, feel free to add it to this thread of "Eye Candy." You can even add your own truck in here if you like - there's no rig any better than your own - in fact I think I'll be the first to put up a pic of my own rig in here.
There she is, my home, my transportation, and my paycheck each week. We've bonded together real nicely, I''l hate to give her up one day, but then there will be another that I'll grow fond of as we criss-cross the country together on the open road!
The irony? There is an ARI Legacy sleeper two trucks down
An owner-operator is a driver who either owns or leases the truck they are driving. A self-employed driver.
Prime Inc has a CDL training program and the first phase is referred to as PSD. You'll get your permit and then 10,000 miles of on the road instruction.
Prime’s PSD begins with you obtaining your CDL permit. Then you’ll go on the road with a certified CDL instructor for no less than 75 hours of one-on-one behind the wheel training. After training, you’ll return to Prime’s corporate headquarters in Springfield, Missouri, for final CDL state testing and your CDL license.
I don't have a truck, but this is my DREAM truck right here
I just love ARI Legacy sleepers and love this new Western Star 5700XE... haven't spotted any on he road, but hopefully soon!

HaHa! Hot Pink Trucks are for Girls!
Oh, that's right, you are a girl...
LOLOLOL
Does EVERYONE have a terminal in Olive Branch/Memphis??
I ran across an awesome pink custom truck on Facebook that I was going to post here but I can't find it again! I believe it's being shown at the Walcott Jamboree at the Iowa 80. Hot pink and lotsa chrome!
This is the 2nd place Walcott Jamboree Company Combination Truck 2016 winner. 2016 Kenworth W900L & 2016 Wabash trailer – Pinkie
A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.
I like that one too but it's not the one I saw. I think it was from last years contest but I can't find any old pictures. I searched for an hour while being unloaded, still can't find it!
We finally got the chance to stop at the Petro Joplin and had a little extra time to explore. This beautiful boy sits on the show floor and I love everything about it.
Talk about slick...
I spotted this black beauty today at the Pilot on I-59 exit 4 in Rising Fawn, Georgia.
