I got 3 cases of pizza one time and it was my go home load too lol
Thats another good thing if you drive reefer the overage haha!
A refrigerated trailer.
So you just get to keep stuff if a shipper gets the order wrong?
The customer who is shipping the freight. This is where the driver will pick up a load and then deliver it to the receiver or consignee.
Not always you first have to run it threw claims department they determine along with the shipper how the product gets disposed of. If it's large amounts they usually find another place to bring it to. Small amounts they tell you dispose of it or get a food bank to pick it up.
I once got stuck with 3 pallets of roses the day before Mother's Day. Not fun!

Only happened to me once and it was 10 cases of tampons. Fortunately I was close to one of our yards, so they told me to switch it for another trailer.
The other day I got a couple of nice 4x4s of treated lumber that was being used as dunnage for a load of utility pole crossarms, made from the same material. Each piece is about 4 feet long. I was gonna toss 'em like I usually do, but they looked so nice, I figured I could use them for something around the house! That's about the extent of "overages" I ever see as a flatbedder...
Be careful with that stuff my man, best tasting laxative you'll ever drink..
