If you check out the general trucking section there's some info there, or search family or kids in the search and some articles may come up to help but nothing specifically fedex. The impression I get from most posts is you have to contact your company for rider policies and what is allowed. Also from what I've seen that is the age most companies start allowing riders but definitely check with your companies rider policy.

Contact a recruiter for the carrier you wish to know about. Swift has a rider policy & I believe the restriction simply limits "school aged children" during "school hours".
Most carriers I've spoken to have a 12 year old limit.

Does anyone know what companies allow children as riders? Does anyone know the youngest age allowed for riders at Fedex? I have a 12 year old who abesolutely loves riding with me but her brother wants to come and I think he is too young. I'd wait awhile to take him but I'd like to give him a reasonable age so he is looking forward to something hopefully. They are bit by the trucking bug and have diesel in their veins.
