Sending prayers from Montana your way Old School. Not to many companies would let a driver keep their truck like that however it says alot about you and what you mean to that company. LOL I agree with Brett about lifting the eye brow. In the mean time take care of yourself, think positive (as you allways seem to do) Oh by the way thanks for all the knowledge and inspiration you share and give on this site.

Best Wishes Old School. I had the same surgery in January, I am not gonna lie it is not a fun surgery(what surgery is), but it is very effective.

Old School,

There are so many extraordinary things I can say that come to mind when I think off what you mean to this forum and to our TT family. Your energy and constant caring for people trying to navigate their way in this business has certainly left an impact for the future. I know this is only a temporary detour and you will soon be on the road to recovery.

Even though we have disagreed at times I always valued and thought of you as a mentor in my journey. You are truly blessed and probably don't even realize how many of our lives you have impacted in a positive way.

I hope you a speedy recovery for I truly believe this is just that small hick up in the road. Take this off time not only to get well but to connect with your loved ones. Please keep us informed and never hesitate to get in touch with me if you want to.

I'm sure you won't have enough time to write that novel but please give us short story or two while your down. Peace and prayers Brian

My prayers for a speedy recovery friend. Take advantage of the home time and get yourself taken care of. I'm sure your wife will be more than glad to fuss over you for a bit.

You're getting positive thoughts from across the country OS! Prayers are being sent your way. After helping so many of us, you are more than deserving of any help we can give in return. God bless

Thanks to each of you!

You're all very kind, and overly generous with your compliments.

I'm at home now - surgery is tomorrow. I'll give an update on Thursday.

Brett, thanks for the suggestions, I'll see if the plastic surgeon can go ahead and Vulcanize me while we're at it. thank-you.gif

Skin cancer is no picnic, but it's mostly easily "handled".

Basal cell carcinoma (BCC) is the most common form of skin cancer. BCCs are rarely fatal, but can be highly disfiguring if allowed to grow.

Maybe you can get both eyebrows to work together.

Sorry to hear that news, will be praying for you and your family. By the way I live just up the road in Tyler. Maybe we can meet up sometime and I can pick your brain.

Dang, just read this thread. You hang in there Old School and tell that doctor he better do a good job. I'd hate to think for some weird reason you'd wind up looking like me because nobody wants that lol.

Anywho, aside from the silliness, a serious get well soon and best wishes on a fast recovery. Oh and about the Spock idea, you'd have to have the ears done too or it just wouldn't be the same.
