Thanks OS. You know I usually stray back in sooner or later.

Hey Red Gator, great to hear from you!

Red Gator, good to see you.

OS, glad it went well.

Chuck Norris tough-guy jokes come to mind.

Now, you can scare all the new flatbedders with something like, "Pay attention. Lemme tell ya what happens when you don't throw your straps properly..."

Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming.

That has to be from a winch bar. Didn't even pass out, did you?

Old School certainly glad everything went well for you. You do have that "international man of mystery" look going on now. It's funny how we love our hometime and yet still get that it's time to head back on the road feeling at the same time. I'm guessing it's the same feeling professional athletes get when its close to retirement? You and Brett are certainly entertaining on this post so I will sit back and enjoy the show. God Bless

Hey gang, it's been five days since they rolled me out of surgery, but I'm feeling so good I went ahead and started back to work today. I'm sleeping in Delhi, LA tonight with a loaded trailer behind me that's bound for Charlotte, NC. I'm not gonna wander too far from home this week so I can get back to Texas on Tuesday for a couple of doctor appointments for follow up visits, and to finally get these stitches pulled out. I told the Doc that I could pull those stitches out, and it would save me the trouble of having to come back home so soon. He just looked at me like I was crazy! Heck, it doesn't take twelve years of college to pull out stitches - I was serious, but he just thought I was whacko!

He's late, I've been saying this for years, and thats before you proved me right many times over the years.

My primary Dr has a pretty good sense of humor but she still thinks I'm about as crazy as it gets. LOL!

I have yet to actually meet a surgeon with even the most basic sense of humor. For the most part I seem to just p*ss them off. ;^P

Hey that's awesome news! Man, you sure don't like to sit around much, do ya? A few days after cancer surgery and you're like, "These loads aren't gonna deliver themselves!" On go the work boots and out the door you go.

I love to see that kind of tenacity. Another great story the grandkids will have about their grandad. Of course twenty years from now it will be:

Yeah, and then he punched the surgeon in the face, took out his own stitches, used them to fix the surgeon's face, and said, "That's what you get for trying to hold me back!" and drove over 10 cars with his big rig on the way out of that hospital! The cops didn't even try to chase him because they knew they were in for it if they actually did catch him, which they couldn't have cuz he was already doin' 90 through Louisiana before they knew what happened!

Really glad to hear everything has gone so well for you OS. I'm surprised they let you go back to work that soon. And I would like to pre-order the book when you get around to writing it

So glad to hear it went well!! And I'll add that if you do the pointy ears you'll have to do the haircut as well, just to show off everything. rofl-2.gif
