I agree!

When I was with my trainer, he was determined that I learned what it would be like when I was by myself. Consequently, when it was pouring down and there was something outside the truck that needed doing, he would say, "Get out there and strap that load down, when you are on your own there won't be anyone there to help you! He was a real piece of work!

A light poncho may serve your needs for now, and it won't take up much space.
