Careful w amount of water you drink. If urine is diluted you can be "disqualified". Fail.
Ok! I'm may be going way the $$&@ out of line here! I read where you asked "do they watch you while you pee in a cup" in two of the C1 training threads. STRONG ADVICE! DO NOT ATTEMPT TO BRING SOMEONE ELSE'S URINE INTO THE TEST! They will catch you! I apologize if I am out of line. They will catch you! They will catch you!
I (very recently) completed C1 Indy. The urine test is 1st & is used as a portion of your physical (split sample) to determine of you're diabetic & the level of protein in your urine. You can smoke whenever you wish... although smoking prior to having your BP measured is known (fact) to elevate your BP, so of you have concerns of high BP... I recommend you refrain until afterwords.
Also, there is no hernia testing. Only a medical questionaire which you should be prepared to discuss, BP & vision testing (monochromatic & Snellen).
Ummmmmmmm no lol I just don't like the idea of someone else watching me pee! Doesn't that make you uncomfortable?? Maybe it's just me but someone watching me while I use the bathroom doesn't sound at all pleasant!

Great, thanks for the info!! I was told I would have to strip down into nothing but a hospital gown???

Also, not sure how this page worked. I asked those questions on the other threads but apparently forgot to subscribe? So now I can't see any of the answers😐

I apologize for being harsh. I have seen too many failures due to someone else's urine in the restaurant/hospitality biz. And the test is basic. I looked for info to quote on here but couldn't find any. The DOT looks for creatine levels in urine also, too much water can dilute this and dilute possible drugs also. Supposedly the DOT test can detect masking formulas also...the detox you buy at head shops etc. can't be sure never tried it. They do not necessarily watch you but it's not 100% private.

I will be taking part in the c1 training in indy starting Monday. That being said I will be taking a DOT Physical which I am quite nervous about.
I was told to drink a lot of water the morning of for the urine test. That being said:
1. Is the urine test or the physical first? If I drink a lot of water, will I be holding it throughout the physical?
2. Is the physical right after the urine test?
3. How do they check for hernias?? Do I have to strip completely down??
4. Do they allow smoke breaks?
tia!!
