My recruiter told me something different than the other schools. I would be in class then go out with trainer then come back to class. Then on the road. Is it because I already have had my cdl s for 13 years or is this just the way schneider does things? Other recruiters said class then trainer then on the road. What are we doing in class when we come back? Why not just get going?

Hey Bobby, I don't work for Schneider so I can't answer you specifically. I will say that their training is always considered top notch by those of our members who went through it. Maybe someone can tell you specifically what goes on when you return to the "classroom," I would assume it's some basic orientation type stuff.

Also, when you are finished with your training, more than likely they will let you go by the house and get the rest of the gear you want with you on your truck before you really start getting after it.

Bobby, read CodeRed NV training diary. He went through training with Schneider and explains it all day by day. And yes, he did go back to class after being out with a trainer.
