Operating While Intoxicated
My truck is so alarm and retrofitted that I can't even pass gas without an alarm going off to let me know that there's bad air somewhere.
If ur not legal for Cali they wont let ya past the peeling gates of he** that's what I call that darn check station anyway other known as port of entry
What bugs me is the 55 speed limit. I'm not a speed junkie, I can't be - I'm governed at 62. But I had to repower a load from donners pass to CA and I was soo tight on time. It was either go 55 and be late or go over the speed limit and not be late but risk a ticket and csa points. That's my fuss with my home state.
The CSA is a Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) initiative to improve large truck and bus safety and ultimately reduce crashes, injuries, and fatalities that are related to commercial motor vehicle
Yep they asked and I did,I'm sitting just outside of Reno,Nov for a delivery tomorrow then off to Ontario,CA
I don't normally run chain states when the law is in effect but hey its cash and scenery right lol.
I'm strictly western 11, I have had to chain over Donner Pass twice since December
England made us watch an aweful video about Donners pass. I do like telling people the story of Donners pass and the Donner party. Alot of people accually dont know about the Donner party. Its not trucking, but its history and I love history.
Truck drivers who regularly pick up from or deliver to the shipping ports will often be required to carry a TWIC card.
Your TWIC is a tamper-resistant biometric card which acts as both your identification in secure areas, as well as an indicator of you having passed the necessary security clearance. TWIC cards are valid for five years. The issuance of TWIC cards is overseen by the Transportation Security Administration and the Department of Homeland Security.
Im shut down in Colorado now on my way to Idaho:/ I was thinking Florida but Noooooooo lol
We're just not gonna go to CA after 12-13. They can bring their freight to the AZ line, we'll pick it up there.
