Oh that pretty Stevens Truck, I still gawk at them when they ride by..and my wife always blurts out "I know ! That's the company you worked for 11 years ago". Kat, I wanted a change 11 years ago and went to trucking school. I drove for Stevens and Cooke(small reefer co out of Mt Airy, nc) after about a year I was called by chef friend to help open a new restaurant so I left trucking. Dying to return. I have to go back to school or do company sponsored because I let my Cdl go(dumba$$). I spend every spare minute studying this site etc. Still have some wife convincing to do wtf-2.gif but I'm working on it. Just do it.😇

I taught middle school math for 11 years. The kids ....! I'll stop there, but I bet you know what I mean.

Crazy thing is, I go through math lessons in my mind while I'm on the interstate. I'm thinking of starting a YouTube channel à la Khan Academy, just to get it out of my system.

Interstate:

Commercial trade, business, movement of goods or money, or transportation from one state to another, regulated by the Federal Department Of Transportation (DOT).

This is encouraging. I was a substitute teacher straight out of college, and did it for 10 years. I never got certified since, IMO, I would be selling out to gain family's approval (on/off/on/off). I loved subbing due to the freedom it allowed.

I even signed up for a masters in elementary education (my best age group) last fall. I "jumped in". But........I began.......and froze. Completely froze 2 weeks in. An absolutely honest heart check said "this is NOT what I want to do". I almost sold out. I was true to me, and I backed out. I can only change myself, noone else.
