I haven't. Some lights take ridiculously long (a couple minutes) because they're timed instead of on a sensor. Where was this at?
Anyone else experience a light that stays red until you get out and press the crosswalk thingy?
I can honestly say I'm impressed! Lol I've never heard of anyone doing this before
2 minutes: hah !
This light ( in southern Wisconsin) has to take at least twice as long.
I tought maybe at certain times of the day early in the morning its just set to like you say a ridiculously long time but can be overriden with pressing the walk thingy.
Truck drivers who regularly pick up from or deliver to the shipping ports will often be required to carry a TWIC card.
Your TWIC is a tamper-resistant biometric card which acts as both your identification in secure areas, as well as an indicator of you having passed the necessary security clearance. TWIC cards are valid for five years. The issuance of TWIC cards is overseen by the Transportation Security Administration and the Department of Homeland Security.
Usually I just stare at the red light. Then it turns green! Works almost every time.
Major florida cities have magnetic sensors under the lights near the stop bars. My motorcycle and old corvette never tripped them.

There was a light like this on one of my routes on my old local non-cdl job.
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

That doesn't work for me. I have to start doing something on the QC then it turns green immediately.
My problem is I seem to catch every light red, even ones with no one around turn red on me....
Shift to neutral and set your parking brake, works every time
