Whoohoo!!! Awesome news Sam!
It sucks that you and your wife can't go together but trust me a year is going to fly by!
By the way, did you follow me on Twitter? I think you did...
Grats man! Who knows, maybe if you show Celadon what you can do, they will let you train your wife down the line.
I had a pretty good reason to believe Prime might not hire my wife, but she had no issues getting in.
Congrats Sam, so awesome to hear!! Kudos on your persistence to get going.
Thanks Chickie, Matt and Paul.
Yes Chickie, I like reading trucking adventures, so I thought I would follow ya.
Congratulations Sam - really happy for ya!
Hey you guys have had a rough start, and now starting at different companies may even make it harder, but hang in there. You seem like you've got a really great gal to go through life with - I understand the importance of that, because I'm in the same boat with you. My wife has always been very supportive of my career, and it makes a world of difference. I hope you guys can make it through all the difficulties and end up teaming together one day soon!
Listen, I realize that what happened before was obviously a personal thing that you guys didn't need to share in a public forum, but in the future when you guys feel discouraged or disillusioned, I hope you can bring the issues in here for advice before you jump ship. We have seen just about every scenario out there playing out, and I know that there will be someone in here who can offer some constructive advice.
Best of luck to ya!
Congrats man!!! Better days are ahead, feels good when you can move forward ...congrats again
Good deal man! Best of luck
Thanks everybody, and thank you Old School. I do have a great wife. Her sacrifice has taken my fire to succeed, and poured a lot of gasoline on it. Unless I have zero ability, I will make it.
Also, for clarity, one of us didn't have the choice to stay at Prime. The other left out of loyalty to their mate. I will bring any questions and concerns to the boar. I respect the ones who drove before me, and I know I will get the truth and not my ego petted.

After chasing my drivers license and permit in Missouri, getting them transferred to SC (which had delays), and talking to lots of recruiters, I am pleased that I finally get to quit backing up, and start moving forward. I start school with Celadon on June 6.
Only bad thing, my wife and I couldn't get accepted at another company together. So, at her insistence, I will start, and when I get going, she will go with another company. When we can, we will go to another company, together. It will be a tough year, but will be well worth it in the long run.
When I finally get my big butt in a truck, good luck getting it out. Now, in true TT fashion bring on the bananas.
