Well folks the journey and adventure begins... My bus arrives in Memphis tomorrow at 7:00 am.
Good luck to you.
I'm on the last leg of my 24 hour Greyhound ride to Prime. I'm Beat down, yet wide awake. Lucky I get to relax tomorrow before orientation starts on Monday.
Good luck buddy. It's been a crazy ride I am here now. I got one more week to go for road training. and then hopefully by Friday or Saturday I will have my CDL. let me know if you have any questions good luck
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
Thanks G-Town.
David I know what you mean, glad my trip is only 12 hours. This bus is packed hopefully most will get off at next stop.
I certainly will Phillip.
Thanks a bunch.
I just graduated from the Memphis academy last Thursday. Expect to have a lot of information fed to you at a very fast pace. However, if you take notes and pay attention you will do well. Also, DO NOT give up. The class after ours lost 7 or so people when backing training started...one guy just said I can't do this and quit. Don't be that guy. :-)
The instructors are passionate about the industry and want you to succeed, but they won't hold your hand either. You are expected to figure it out using the information given. In time, you'll figure out what works best for you.
Thanks Lemmy, yeah I won't be that guy I have come to far to just give up.
Oh, one thing I forgot to mention...
The drivers (4 wheelers) in Memphis are borderline suicidal or just simply insane. You've really got to keep an eye out for them. Not a boring moment to be had on the streets of Memphis. Lol
Lol Lemmy, thanks for the warning.
