Hello all, about a week or so ago I posted a story titled just an old trucker. This was a story about a trucker named David"Moose"Beagle who was battling cancer.Moose was one of the greatest truckers I've ever known, now I'm not saying he's the greatest trucker this country has ever seen but he is definitely top notch.Moose was an o/o and had been for decades,he never owned a fleet of trucks or established a big trucking company but was able to make a very decent living as an o/o in an industry that's hard for the little guy to survive let along compete with these big companies that control a lot of the industry today not that these companies are all bad,but he managed and did well for his self, well Moose lost his battle this Saturday at 1:54p.m.and he will surely be missed so I wanted to thank him for all he's done as an o/o in this industry and to all o/o out there who are rolling out a living for themselves and their families may God bless you all....remember Moose

OOS:

When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.

Keith, we join with you in saying farewell to your friend, and even though we didn't have the pleasure of knowing him, we enjoyed hearing about him from you. It is a tough nut to cut, being an owner operator in the present business climate of the industry, and I know your friend was a good honest hard working man, or else he would not have made it like he did.

We mourn your loss, and appreciate you sharing your stories with us about Moose. Farewell Driver.

Owner Operator:
