Haha! Now you just got to read all the pages in our old forum. There's a lot more :)
Yeah, there is a ton of stuff in that old forum. It's like an archive of Truck driver wisdom.
Is there a link for the old forum ??? I think thats where all my weird stories ended up..... Brett ??????????????????
Thanks Tracey!!!! After all of the years of work we've put into this website it's always a thrill to hear that it's been helpful and enjoyable for people. And running this site has been a tremendous amount of fun!
Trucking is such a tough career but it's so rewarding if the right people get involved and handle it the right way. Teaching people what life on the road is like and getting them prepared for the adventure is a tall order but I'm hoping we're getting better at it all the time.
The old forum is still there. I just don't link to it anymore:
That forum was around for like 4 1/2 years. There are some epic conversations buried in there. I'd love to go through at least a portion of that forum and pull out some of the "best of the best" stuff and re-use it somewhere on the site. But I can tell ya right now I'll probably never get to that project. But there really are a mountain of great conversations in there.

New! Check out our help videos for a better understanding of our forum features
And it is all of ya'll's fault. I wake up in the morning and check out the post. I get on here sometime during the day and then before I go to sleep at night I check one more time.
I have read stories that make me scratch my head. Stories that make me cry. Read advice that is just amazing. And read almost all of the pages of material that their is here for the new drivers and us old ones that need a little refreshing or didn't know about at all.
I am watching lives being lived. Careers getting started. And meeting new and interesting drivers who just make you feel so blessed to be a truck driver.
And these young guys who have their heads on right and just this amazing life a head of them! Man. These boys know their stuff. Brett, you have got to feel overwhelmed at times at what you have done for the trucking industry. All of you really.
I'm a little sad though that I haven't seen any of my fellow students signed in here yet. I'm going to keep at them though. Was talking about it Thursday to two of the female students. Hope to see them before the weekend is up.
But seriously, I just can't find the words. Don't tell anybody that though. they would never believe you.
It's Friday and I know many of you are still out there turning those wheels. Be safe and have a good night and wonderful weekend.
