It's likely that the recruiter has the newest information, and the hold message just hasn't been updated to reflect it yet. You could always try contacting a Stevens driver or someone in their payroll department for clarification.
I start their CDL school in Keenesburg, CO on Monday. Guess I'll find out pretty soon, huh? Can't wait, getting pretty excited again! Passed all of my tests (the only endorsement I didn't test for is bus), got my DOT Medical card today and immediately went and got my Permit, so I'm ready to rock. Plus, since I already have my permit, I'll get extra range time while the others are testing and getting their permits according to the guy at the school I check in with weekly. As to what you were saying, I think that I would rather start out at the higher rate and forego the three raises especially if it is the same $0.30 figure.
Like I say, I'll find out soon.

I just got off the phone with a recruiter who informed me that STevens Transport new pay scale is you START OUT after training at .30/mi and raises every 1 year after that. However, while on hold it tells you that you get 3 pay raises in the first year and from what I've seen the 3 pay raises were that you started out after training at .26/mi and go to the .30/mi mark at 1 year. CAn anybody verify which pay rate you do start out at STevens Transport now? Thank you My choices are down to STevens Transport cdl school or go to AIT school and then hire on at May Trucking.
