It is true that 11x 7 = 77. Yes, my mistake was the maximum is 70 hours. And 11 x 6 = 66, giving you 4 hours on day #7.

Yes, Miss ChickieMonster!
Ugh I hate trying to figure out recaps.
Correct me if I'm wrong. You can only be on duty or driving for 70 hours in an 8 day period. Right?
I'm so glad my Treq figures all this out for me. Just a reason I'm grateful for e-logs! I don't have to hurt my brain...
I agree. I hate running on recaps, but it's often a necessary evil. Funny, I think it's almost inevitable as a reefer driver if you want get good miles, since you're constantly waiting around at shippers and receivers. All that waiting tends to spread my 70 out over 8 days. BUT it's also running reefer that makes recaps a royal PITA. It's kinda a pain for anybody, but with all the specific appt times you typically have to deal with in reefer, it can make trip planning a lot more complicated. I imagine it would work about the same for flatbed drivers or anyone who tends to have mostly live loads/unloads.
The customer who is shipping the freight. This is where the driver will pick up a load and then deliver it to the receiver or consignee.
A refrigerated trailer.
