Hello everyone, there was a May Trucking recruiter who came to my trucking school. Seems pretty good. No contract, benefits, and sufficient pay for me. But before I choose them, I want to hear what you all think of them?

OOS:

When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.

A few drivers here should pipe in. I have heard nothing but positive about them.

I've done my research on the company and went to the Phoenix terminal to check it out. Everybody seems real nice there and my recruiter is as well. They all been very helpful. All good vibes from that company unlike others I've called and researched. That is the company I believe I'm going with once I graduate in July. I start school June 13. Best of luck to you!

Terminal:

A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

Hey MT, May is a really good company. I would however suggest not limit your choices to just one.

In case you haven't seen these, here are some links that will give you a bigger picture on what's available and how to make the best selection.

Thanks everyone! I'll keep an open mind in choosing other trucking companies. I can't believe how much in demand we are, especially if you get many years of experience without accidents!
