Beautiful shots! Where bouts?
That is Kootenai Falls between Libby and Troy, Montana. There is enough room to park a few trucks.
Thanks. Breath taking.
When I was training years ago I wanted to stop on 101 and run out my foot or hand in Pacific Ocean and my trainer laughed, said no. I did however almost had him talked into stopping along Columbia River in Oregon and fish for Salmon. Did not have enough time on load to stop and figure out how to get a fishing license.
Life is too short. Sometimes you just have to get out and do some of those things.

Before getting into a truck I had been all over the country. The thing that I found is that there is something beautiful in every state I have been in. Take red rock canyon outside vegas for an example. You are going to need a car or cab once in a while.
Things like going through South Dakota and never seeing Mt Rushmore.
Sorry, I would post pics but I am posting from my iPad.
Try Meteor Crater, Ext 233, I40. It's only about 6 miles from the highway and yes it is accessible for semi's with trailers although you must park on the RV lot (first left as you approach the parking lots). Get there early if you can and you will have no issues parking your rig. It was about $18 I think when I went but if you like science, history, geology or just tourism it's well worth it. Take your camera and a deep breath because the views are breathtaking. Wish I could post some pics for you. Let's face it most of us probably pass this place and think it's not for us truckers but it is.

I know we are all busy but there are days that you have the extra time to do something. I took an hour on Tuesday to do something that I had been wanting to stop and look at for over a month. I finally said the heck with it and got it done. The photos do not do the river justice as to the amount of water and power that is has.
