Thanks g town. Well today has been really rough, took the wrong g turn and ended up driving through mountainous roads of Washington that a truck has no business in. Luckily I stayed going straight and it got me back on the highway. Made it to safeway and nobody called once again.. so it looks like this load is lost but lessons learned.

I placed my bet before posting the reply. No pressure Devan... smile.gif

Thanks guys. Can't forget why I am doing this. Hopefully they take the load at 3, but I think they will be complicated. Lesson learned, I am officially not a fan of Washington

Is Safeway in aubern WA? I wish I had read this earlier, I would have given you directions. I have been late there a few times really depends on what you are caring weather they will take you same day or not. As for the company calling my company never called them to let them know I was going to be late. I know it says there is a 500 doller reschedul fee but my company always covered if are you shere your company won't?

Now I know it seems like the hole world is lined up agenst you, but in this industry that's how it is some times you just need to pick your self up dust your self off and take off running at the wall Agen, and Agen, and Agen. Intel you make it over, you will have loads like this and weeks like this you can't let that get to you thought. Just take it one day at a time I suggest trying to sleep at safeway, get some rest.

If you need a parking spot there is a truck stop about 4 to 6 miles down wa167 it's a pay place, but I have always been able to find some parking there. I will send directions if needed. If you work for Swift there is a tuminal right down the road.

You are a life saver! I didn't know we had a terminal here no wonder I am the only swift truck at the truckstop and the dispatch said I will be responsible for $500. Sent my mac22 though so I'm hoping that will cover me because I asked dispatch to change appointment because I couldn't make it, but they wouldnt.. Anyways I'll let you guys know how it goes, about to head back over there.

Terminal:

A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

Well if your at the truck stop just go over the RR tracks fallow the road past Costco, and then go right at the split. There is a no trucks sign, just go by that and the Swift terminal is on the right. I have never had to pay for the 500 dollers Swift always worked if out with safeway. Best of luck to you.

This is a relief. I am getting unloaded as we speak, the people working this morning were the power trip guards so it left a bad taste in my mouth, but the lady working now made it go by real smooth. Got me in hassle free. The plus of being a mega carriers is those prepaid lumpers haha!

HOS:

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

I'll be at the Sumner terminal tomorrow afternoon. Save a parking space for me. I'll be in a white Freightliner, pulling a Swift trailer. You can't help but see me.
