If you have strong political views, try listening to a show on the other side. It'll have you yelling at the radio and that'll keep you up and you won't even realize where the time went.

We're still working on the cb and Sirius. We have a cooler now and gps so we're getting there but it's been slow. Thanks for the heads up on the trail mix...bummer though as they were perfect.

Y'all are too funny.rofl-3.gif

Tell me about it! Granola, too! I could eat fruity, salty, crunchy, chewy - doesn't matter. Granola all day long. Lot of calories though. I do eat granola every day but I make sure I buy the individually wrapped bars and not the big bags because I'll keep eating it from the bag until it's gone. Long gone.

Oh man I love granola!! I learned to stay away from dry oatmeal many years ago though, unless I have a hankerin for feeling like a knife is slicing my abdomen open. I don't get that urge all that often, thankfully. rofl-3.gif

I like the cracked pepper spitz sunflower seeds and the forensic files on the Sirius radio. Oh and how can I forget Howard stern.

My go-to thing for long trips is like "VH1 Behind The Music" on YouTube. I don't watch the video while I'm driving - there's nothing really interesting to watch on those shows anyhow. It's mostly just interviews and narration over still photos. But the stories are super interesting and very well done.

Great tip! I've listened to about twenty of these over my last few drives.

You guys should really Google "Live At Darrell's House". Darrell Hall invites guest to his home from virtually every music category and they jam and pretty much just hang out for the day. Smokey Robinson is one of my favorite episodes.

They're really well done, ain't they? I love em. Even if I don't care about the particular artist it's always an interesting story.

I'm gonna do that. That sounds really interesting too.

It's a great show! They usually cover a few of the artists music and a few of the Hall n Oates classics as well. Daryl usually cooks dinner as well so it really comes off as just a really good time.

I'm pretty sure he lives up in your neck of the woods, could even be Pennsylvania, I forget. LOL
