I was always taught not to back blind side if you can help it, so, I would come into the lot, hug the left as much as I could, then do a loop around and get the truck as straight as I could and lined up, then I would back into the right dock, so that if another truck showed up, they wouldn't have to back around me.
However, if there was ample room, it would be a lot simpler to just do what was already mentioned, just pull in hugging retaining wall and pull up straight, then back straight in.....
Or is that wrong?

Trucker's etiquette, professionalism is alive and well. *LIKE. Plus you reduce the likelihood of the right side of your tractor fender getting obliterated.
I guess I'd pull up next to the retaining wall across the way and straight back into the dock on the right. If the area was congested, I guess I'd do a u-turn on the street and 45 into either of the open docks.

This is Backing Practice™ 12.
I'm trying to keep them organized, in a way.
It looks like there's a truck docked at Aqua Systems that can help with the scale.
Good one, Paul.

Thanks, sorry about that. I wasn't sure which one we were on.
No problem. I don't want to be a B.P. clearance office, but it's just a minor compulsion.
You, or anyone, can email me ahead of time for the next number, so it goes in the title.

Duh I don't know why I didnt think to just ask which number in the first place. Next time..
I would follow the curve of the cul de sac (u turn) until I was facing the entrance of aqua systems and essentially straight, then sight side back into the right spot leaving the left spot for the next driver. If there are no vehicles parked where the black x's are, that area can be used for pull ups to straighten up. How did you do it, Paul?
