All right, this one is actually really simple. Follow the green arrows to the intersection/open space, do a counterclockwise U-turn, then sight-side angle back til you are in set up for a straight line back into the dock.

G-town hit the nail on the head when he said to ask the guards. I didn't even have a chance to ask--they told me what to do when I checked in. It was a bit of a cluster because there were a bunch of trucks in line to get loaded. I had to pass all of them to get to the intersection and start my maneuver, si I could get unloaded. One guy thought I was cutting everyone off to get loaded first. We exchanged a couple Swift jokes over the CB haha--it was a good time.

I really just wanted to put this one up here to give prospective drivers an idea of some of the situations we have to deal with out here. A situation that looked like it was going to be pretty tight on Google Maps turned out to be one of the easier situations I've come across at customers.

If I understand the course correctly, I'd nose toward the dock first, then back to my sight side to get pointed back toward the guard shack. Pull forward a bit then another sight side back into the dock. I'd rather do multiple sight sides than any blind side.

This is my solution too. Has the least chance of making an error. It may take a couple more minutes, but it looks the most elegant solution.

It didn't look quite big enough for a u turn. But if the guard says so.... I usually ask for directions too. At Walmart DCs I get a map.

Well, it was a tight U-turn. But that's all right as long as it's possible. Yeah I like the Walmart DC's lol

Rob, you'll get used to seeing the space needed for a Uey. Since the tractor "folds" back at the kingpin, you only need about 58' roundish area, just a bit more than the length of the trailer.

WMDCs have plenty of room to move your trailer around. Even the newer Walmart stores are easy to get into the dock.

I liked Ccw's backing setup. More room out by the green arrow and all backing is driver-side backing
