I'm I rookie, only 2 months in. But I've never heard of this even being an option. You don't have to use their insurance but I don't think they pay you more.
Highly unlikely that any company that offers health insurance coverage, is going to give you additional monetary compensation for turning down the coverage.
Under the ACA - they have to offer it to you - but you don't have to take it. They (the company) will have you execute a document, stating that you were offered and declined coverage.

I echo what Rick said. Your savings occurs by not having to contribute to it.
Where I work (Millis Transfer) you get .01cpm for not using their health insurance. I am on my wife's health insurance through her work.
Drivers are often paid by the mile and it's given in cents per mile, or cpm.

We have a good health insurance plan thru my Wife's employer. Has anyone not taken a company's health insurance plan and gotten more per mile from your trucking company instead?
