Nah, it's something I'm doing, but I'm not going to say what because I don't want to cause problems with it being abused. Probably Brett will figure it out quickly and maybe decide to do something about it.

My butt gets sore after about 3-4 hrs of driving.

When I saw this question I thought of Hank Hill and his implants for his Diminished Gluteal Syndrome.

I must have missed that episode. I Love King of the Hill.

Lol, it's ok, i guess i am in a way. I was a computer programmer for many years, and i spent some time working on forum software like this. I remember when i first found this site i sent Brett a message asking what software he was using, and he told me he wrote it himself, which is pretty impressive.

You have probably already thought about this, but just to be sure:

Don't ride with your seat fully up, or down. If you ride high in the cab, release just enough air that your seat sags just a bit. If you ride low in the cab, raise the seat just a bit, far enough that you can bounce on it with most of your weight, and not jar yourself.

I tend to ride high, and had a few sore weeks until I started releasing a bit of air from the seat after I raised it to the top position.

Matthew, Thanks for the advice. I can't put the seat too high....I only have a 28" inseam. If I get it too high, my feet dangle in mid air and I can't reach the PEDALS!

I am 5'8" with a 28" inseam. I know where you're coming from. I ride high and forward so I can see everything with the best possible angle. It drove both of my trainers nuts. They both rode low and back. My first trainer was shorter than me. I am almost certain he couldn't even see the road in front of the truck, except in the convex hood mirror.

Me too. 5'8" 28" inseam. Im convinced I have Midget ancestors somewhere! I need to ride with the seat forward as well. Adjust up and down occasionally, dont have much leeway fwd and back!smile.gif
