Oh, when you did the pre-trip, did you just do what you stated? Mirror, door, fuel tank, coupler and that's it? The examiner didn't have you pull the hood or do a complete walk around?

Thanks everyone!! I appreciate it. Still a lot to learn out there but this is one less obstacle now that I have to worry about.

That was it, we did a light check but he looked and told me left, right, 4way, brake lights, then the front, same thing but high beams. Then the rest was incab the backing, then driving.

Missouri was random about what parts you would do for the pre-trip. It was possible to get the full pre-trip. One guy from my school did. Better talk fast to get it done in the time limit!

I did front of the tractor, engine compartment and coupling system. Plus the lights check.

Oh plus the mandatory in-cab inspection including all the brake checks and tug tests.
