Hi Todd, welcome to Trucking Truth! I can't help you with a weekend only school in Denver. There are a few Paid CDL Training Programs that pay you from the start, I think. Those, too, though require a time commitment.
If you do your research into Trucking Company Reviews, hopefully you won't make a mistake, and will be happy with your company from the start. A time commitment would mean nothing then. On top of that, you won't be on the hook for a coupla $grand you'll need to pay off.

Quick Google search shows a lot of schools in the Denver area. Here is info from the first one I checked.
Open enrollment enables our students to make their own training schedules. Our Pay-as-you-Go policy allows students to pay off their balance while they train. Open 7 days. 7:00 am - 5:00 pm. Classes start every day. Come down and check us out anytime, no need to call.
I won't recommend any specific school because I don't know any of them first hand. I just wanted to see if there was some lack of schools in the Denver area that was causing you to have trouble finding a school. Quick Google search popped up quite a few schools, so use Google to find them and then start checking out their websites and calling them up to get info.

I saw that one last night as well. I'm going to talk with them next week and find out more. If that is the only one then I guess I don't have any other choice.
I found another school it is AIT, here in CO they are located in the Werner terminal probably do a lot of recruiting for them.
A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

Does anyone know of any schools in the Denver area or northern Colorado that provide weekend CDL training. I currently work full time and would like to get my CDL but can't afford to quit my job and go to one of those full time 3-4 week training schools. There's the company paid training route but that also comes with a years commitment and being their indentured servant.
